NFC/MIFARE

Working with contactless cards and tags on the DynaFlex II PED, the supported card technologies (NTag, MIFARE Ultralight, Classic, DESFire, Plus), how pass-through works, and NFC card emulation (DynaCast). This is shared DynaFamily content, documented once in the guide.

Pass-through Commands

Information Available

Send commands to and receive responses from an NTag or MIFARE Ultralight (Type 2) tag.

After the tag is activated, send commands to and receive responses from a MIFARE Classic, MINI, or Plus SL1 (Type 2) tag.

MIFARE DESFire β€” 0x1102

Send commands to and receive responses from a MIFARE DESFire (Type 4) tag.

MIFARE Plus β€” 0x1103

Send commands to and receive responses from a MIFARE Plus (Type 2) tag.

ISO 14443-4 APDU Pass-Through β€” 0x3003

Exchange raw ISO 14443-4 APDUs with any card that supports the protocol.

Pass-Through Mode Start/Stop β€” 0x3001

Enter or leave contactless pass-through mode.

Start/Stop Polling β€” 0x3002

Start or stop the reader polling for a contactless card.

Card Emulation - 0x1840

The device will prepare card emulation with the parameters provided in the command and start card emulation.
