The value of the device lock state will revert to the value of Property 1.2.5.2.1.2 Device Lock State After Reset after a reset or a power cycle. The value of the device lock state after reset property is stored in non-volatile memory so changes made to it will persist after the device is reset or power cycled. Setting this property requires security. Setting it requires the use of Command 0xD112 - Set Property (Secured) which requires MagTek's involvement. To set the device lock passcode without involving MagTek use Command 0xEF07 – Change Device Lock Passcode.
